| Their
latest CD, ‘Fireworks and Fables’, has been regularly broadcast
on Classic FM and BBC Radio 3 and admirers of their music include the
music industry’s legendary critic and presenter Paul Gambaccini,
Classic FM presenter David Mellor, and former BBC Radio 3 presenter Stephanie
Hughes.
Many
original works have been commissioned by the group including pieces by
British composers Edward Longstaff and Edward Watson as well as original
works by the group’s two composers Eleanor Turner and Harriet Adie.
They were also invited to perform the World première of Edward
Cowie’s ‘Nymphaeas’ at the Warehouse, London in 2008.

Girls 4 Harps enjoy performing and recording with other musicians and
have collaborated with musicians from every genre including male voice
choirs, solo singers and internationally renowned Tabla player Sanju Sahai
for a recording and performances of Edward Longstaff’s Saraswati.
